#FloridaStyle

I got away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life for a quick five day getaway to Florida with Hubby and baby! The goal was to soak up as much quality time as possible with my family because we don’t see them often living in Georgia. It felt so good to sleep in my old bed and wake up to the smell of my Mother brewing coffee and cooking bacon in the kitchen. On the third day I snuck away in between visiting family to snap some shots near the water in my neighborhood. I so wish I had access to this type of scenery everyday! The smell of the ocean water and the pretty yatchs passing by was so refreshing.

I was excited to get in the last of my summer outfits in Florida because temps in Atlanta are hitting the 50’s this week which means the start of cool days and chilly nights. Clearly my favorite summer staples were simple cotton black and white tanks tops. I literally wore them on repeat with so many outfits…under blazers, tucked into skirts, layered with vests and paired with jeans. And I’ll continue to layer with them into the next season with sweaters, button-downs, ponchos, capes and cardigans!

I also couldn’t wait to wear these fun platform heels by JustFab! The 3-D art deco inspired print on the heels is so gorgeous. See all of my outfit details at the end of the pictures. I hope you enjoy this ‘last of summer’ outfit inspiration, and I’d love to hear what summer staples you’ll be transitioning into fall! ๐Ÿ™‚
