Palazzo Pants + Lace

I rarely pass up an opportunity to get dolled up…but sometimes a girl’s just gotta be comfortable! Can I get an amen?! But no seriously, last week in Florida my family and I celebrated Hubby’s birthday over dinner at a steakhouse. When he sees me getting ready occasionally he’ll say “Babe you know you don’t have to get all dressed up for this right?”…and most of the time I happily oblige and run back in my closet to pull out more comfy threads!

This day was no exception, and I was already prepared for the moment with palazzo’s rolled up neatly in the suitcase! I love palazzo pants because they are so versatile. You can dress them up with heels and a pretty top or down with a tank top and cute sandals, and there are so many prints to choose from. The trick to finding the perfect pair is to try them on in the dressing room with a pair of your flats or heels, whichever you plan to wear them with. Having them tailored is also an option. There’s nothing worse than high water palazzo’s or ones that drag the ground to get destroyed. If the chilly pre-fall temps haven’t hit your city yet, I say pull out your palazzo’s for a relaxed family or date night!

I paired my pants with a hi-low lace top that I just adore. Lace is so beautiful and timeless, and can be worn so many ways. Matter of fact, I believe every lady needs a little lace in her closet! This top is no longer available, but you can shop pretty lace tops that are perfect for fall hereherehere and here.

Enjoy and Happy Sunday!!
