The Classic Plaid Flannel

The Classic Plaid Flannel

Happy Saturday friends!! It’s such a beautiful day here in Atl, but I had to blog before I step out and enjoy this weather! I’ts been a busy last few weeks for me between travels, work and focusing on family so I’ve been a bit absent…but I’ve got lots of great stuff in store to share with you guys!

This is another one of my 3-way looks {my favorite thing to do!} showcasing the classic plaid flannel shirt. As a stylist, I’m big on teaching my clients how to maximize their wardrobe by incorporating versatile staple pieces that can be mixed and matched with seasonal favorites. This technique will seamlessly get you through the those tricky transitional weather periods without feeling the need to run out and splurge on new items. Read up on a few ‘winter meets spring’ outfit ideas from my last post here!

For this post I had some fun with one of my fav winter staples, a basic flannel shirt. The first look gives me an early spring feel with a sleeveless leather midi dress that I turned into a pencil skirt with strappy heels. The second is a late winter look with leggings and a sleek pair of peep-toe booties. I like to think of the third style as being the best of winter & spring…A mini skater skirt paired with a faux fur vest and lace-up heels!

I hope this brings you a little inspiration to get creative within your wardrobe and stay ahead of the style curve as the seasons change!DSC_0970-002DSC_0021-003DSC_0983-002DSC_0954-002DSC_0049-003DSC_0006-0032016-02-061Flannel Shirt (thrifted) // Leather Midi Dress, Strappy Heels & Clutch: JustFab // Leggings & Long Sleeve Top (old) // Peep-Toe Booties: JustFab // Shoulder Bag: Amazon // Skater Skirt (thrifted) // Faux Fur Vest: Choies // Lace-Up Heels: ZARA
