Winery Rompin’…

Happy Sunday my friends!! I hope your weekend has been fantabulous! Just the other weekend hubby and I had the pleasure of frolicking around the wineries and vineyards of the North Georgia Mountains (also known as the Blue Ridge mountains), and literally had the time of our lives tasting award-winning wines and taking in the most beautiful, peaceful views of GA’s wine country. The tour bus took us to five different wineries throughout the day, and our guide provided us with a delicious gourmet lunch at our first stop with a live band to serenade us while we ate.

If you’re a wine connoisseur (or even a casual sipper)  you must check out VIP Southern Tours when you visit Georgia, and if you live here it needs to be on your local bucket list! Oh, and make sure to request Captain Fireball as your driver and tour guide…put it this way, there’s a pole on the bus and he gets people on it! 😉 I can’t rave enough about our experience, but I will share a few pictures from the wonderful day we had.

IMG_20160521_132147PSX_20160522_110116Now let’s talk about this adorable romper that I snagged for just $13! It’s from AliExpress (one of my biggest style steal secrets!). When I spot a trending style that I love but don’t want to splurge on it because it may be a one-time wear, I run it through AliExpress (keyword search) to see if I can find it for a fraction of the cost compared to online boutique prices. Often time the boutiques are buying from similar vendors in China.

Here a few rules to ensure you receive a quality product in the time frame that you expect:

1. Read A LOT of reviews on the item from previous purchasers. Reviewers often post pictures and share information on whether the item is true to size or not.

2. Review the sizing chart provided by the seller. Grab a measuring tape to accurately measure yourself.

3. Pay close attention to the promised delivery timeframe from the seller. Most items take a minimum of 20 days, so never buy something that you need right away. I usually buy for the next season.

4. Always verify the seller’s overall rating & feedback before purchasing.

I know…sounds like a lot of work, but I promise it’s worth it. I’ve saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars over the years on trendy clothing and accessories!DSC_0801Cenita was hands down our favorite winery. The GM hosted our tasting, while educating us on the etiquette of a true wine connoisseur. Then we got to lounge around the beautiful property with our favorite glass of wine in hand! DSC_0874IMG_20160521_131205DSC_0904IMG_20160505_202628IMG_20160521_132411 (1)PSX_20160522_110525

  1. That romper looks so pretty on you. I got some items last year from online boutique(dress link) in China. It wasn’t a bad experience at all. I will search for cute pieces during my summer break. I don’t drink wine but I guess that place will definitely be a good place if I need a sip. Have a wonderful week.

  2. Super cute romper and what a great price point! I’ve stumbled across AliExpress before but have never actually ordered from them. They seemed to have a lot of great deals, I’ll have to see if they ship to Canada.
Hope you have a great week ahead!
