Fall/Winter 16 Lookbook: The Eclectic Edition

Fall/Winter 16 Lookbook: The Eclectic Edition

Now that Black Friday shopping is over and most of us wait patiently for all of our happy mail days {my online shoppers know what I mean 😉 }, I figured no better time than now to share my Fall/Winter 16 Lookbook! I had the pleasure of styling these beautiful models for an editorial shoot, and the majority of the looks were sponsored by Planet Blue Buckhead.

The style inspiration for these looks was drawn from the confident woman that identifies with a variety of style genres…from preppy, to boho chic, to full out glam! My curated looks are perfect for the ladies that have the luxury of enjoying warm weather year-round, BUT all can be transitioned for the cold by swapping out the sandals for sassy boots/pumps and throwing on a fur or trench/peacoat!

Pay close attention to the short list of tips in between each segment, and click on any picture to get a closer look!

  1. Two-piece sets are ALWAYS in! Get yourself a knit set for winter.
  2. Rompers are smart wardrobe purchases because they are year-round staples. For fall/winter, pair with OTK boots and a longline coat OR layer a fitted turtleneck underneath sleeveless styles.
  3. Winter whites {especially ones with lace} are always a good idea!
  1. Maxi skirts with high slits are oh-so-sexy and perfect for date night.
  2. Every girl needs an oversized sweater {or two} that effortlessly falls of the shoulder to pair with just about everything!
  3. Plaid shirts and jackets are closet staples and are so versatile…they can be prepped up or rocked out depending on your style vibes.
  4. The uber feminine mini dress is your go-to weapon for an easy peasy statement look!
  1. If you don’t have own a shirt dress, get one. Period.
  2. The bodysuit is an essential wardrobe piece because it creates a clean look {versus the tucked in blouse}…get yourself a few work appropriate ones and maybe a sexier take like the backless one pictured above.
  3. Leather paired with cutoff denim will have you feelin’ like Angeline Jolie in Tomb Raider…try it!!
  1. Cape blazers are soooo sophisticated, and will surely land you tons of compliments no matter the occasion!
  2. When wearing all black, add an element of surprise by mixing bold materials and textures. {pleats & sequins paired above}
  3. Floral prints are another year-round closet staple. Wear alone or pair with dark or earth tones for fall/winter.
