That Festive New Year Edge…

That Festive New Year Edge…

Can you believe it’s almost 2-0-1-7?!?! I’m so ready for what this new year has in store for all of us! 2016 was definitely the year of preparation for me, and I’m praying and believing that 2017 will be my year of transition! More to come on that…;-)

One thing I can say for sure that has transitioned quite a bit is my personal style. I find myself styling with a bit of an edge as opposed to my usual girly touches. I’m opting for booties instead of pumps, vampy lip shades, and lots of leather.

Here’s a NYE inspired look with an edgy twist that I hope you like! I rarely shop department stores these days, but both my dress and crop top are from two of the most popular retailers (see outfit details at end of post). This outfit is perfect for a day or night event, and the layering will keep you on the warmer side without having to keep up with a coat while out partying!buckheadholiday-13-zf-6613-13683-1-002buckheadholiday-4-zf-6613-13683-1-009buckheadholiday-21-zf-6613-13683-1-005buckheadholiday-22-zf-6613-13683-1-006buckheadholiday-15-zf-6613-13683-1-003img_20161228_191112Dress: Bar III @ Macy’s // Crop Top: Nordstrom // Booties & Shoulder Bag: ZARA

I love this look. Your hair style for the look took it out of the pack. I wish you and your family a prosperous year ahead

Thank you so much Bukky! The hair style was a last minute split decision that I threw up, but I’m glad I did! Wishing you and your family all the blessings in the new year!! 🙂
