Thee Summatime Staple

Thee Summatime Staple

Heyyyy my lovelies!! I know, it’s been a while. Your girl got a new job, a new hair color, and a renewed enthusiasm for this sweet, little passion of mine called blogging! Ya’ll…burnout is REAL, and sometimes taking a mental break from the pressure to deliver is necessary to become reinspired and fall in love with your passion all over again. Besides, pushing the gas when the tank is empty won’t get you anywhere, right?!

In other news–it’s officially summer, and allll I wanna talk about is MAXI DRESSES!!! Why? Because it’s hands down thee most effortless {you don’t have to shave OR wear a bra ;-)}, elegant piece in your wardrobe this season. If you don’t own any of these to-the-floor beauties, don’t worry, I’ve got you covered girlfriend! This leopard print number is from Shoedazzle and it’s under $45! The plunging neckline is juuust enough sass for this ultra flowy maxi, making it perfect for almost any occasion. It can be dressed up or down, and I styled it somewhere in between with a messy top knot, a straw bag & strappy heeled sandals.

I’ve linked up all of my favorite maxi dresses below for you to shop (RewardStyle will not display images from the ASOS site; click the thumbnail image to shop)! My picks come in all shapes, sizes & price points. Another great thing about maxi’s is that there are endless styles to complement EVERY body type! If you’re unsure on if a particular style that you like flatters your body, solicit a second opinion.

Bag: Zara // Heels: JustFab // Sunnies: Amazon

What’s your take on the maxi dress? Is it your go-to item for the summer? Drop me a comment below with what you’ll be wearing on repeat!
